Q: Does this bike need any special tools to service it or just the older style spanners? By: Jason Posted On: 14/02/2013
A: Hi Jason, the bike is entirely original apart from the back wheel so i guess older style spanners needed but honestly im not sure. I can always take pictures of parts you want to see. Thanks , simon Answered On: 15/02/2013
Q: I don't know of anyone willing to pay that much for that bike. On a side note can you sell me the headlight and the headlight mounting bracket. They don't have those parts here in the US. I will give you 50 euros for the light and bracket. I don't care even if the light works. Please reply asap. I really need that light. Thanks. By: John Chapoton Posted On: 04/02/2013
Q: for your information, the bike you have is not the m/42 Husqvarna. Yours was made by Monark and is a 1950 or later m/104A. I've owned my 1942 Husqvarna m/42 for 22 years since I bought it in Sweden when I was an exchange student in 1991. I brought it back with me to the United States in 1992 on the airplane. I still have it to this day. Your bike does not have the correct wheels (westwood style), front drum brake hub, or the parking lock tab on the steering which was only Husqvarna. Here is an article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swedish_military_bicycle Your bike is the top picture. My bike is the second picture. By: John Chapoton Posted On: 03/02/2013
