Selling Safely

How do I sell on Going Going Bike?

Once you have registered on Going Going Bike you can list items for sale on our marketplace. Simply click on the List an Item link and follow the instructions. You will need a valid PayPal account in order to be paid and can insert your PayPal ID when you list your item for sale.

 

How do I start a webstore on Going Going Bike?

Webstores are a great way to get more people see your products. In order to open a webstore you need to apply to us and be of a certain standard and agree to our webstore charter. Only a small number of applicants will become webstores but you can still sell through the marketplace as an individual seller. You can apply for a webstore here.

Listing an Item

How do I list an item?

You can list an item by clicking on the list an item link in the footer. Alternatively you can click the relevant link from the My Account page.


How much do I charge for shipping?

To help you calculate shipping prices you can use the Royal Mail Shipping Calculator that lets you know how much it costs to courier an item. 


I don’t want to ship, can I choose pick up only?

If you don’t want to ship an item you can select pick up only and arrange where you are going to hand over the item to the buyer.


Fees

How much does it cost to list an item?

It’s completely free to list an item on Going Going Bike. We only charge a fee if you sell it.


What percentage of the item does Going Going Bike take for the item?

Going Going Bike charges a commission based on the price of an item when an item is sold. This fee is paid by the seller at the time that they receive the purchase price from the buyer. See our Pricing page for more information.


How much does it cost to have a Webstore?

How do I pay Going Going Bike’s fees?

Going Going Bike will take the fee at the same time as you receive payment from the seller. You do not have to pay any further fees.
