PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDE
The Going Going Bike marketplace needs fantastic photos for all items listed for sale.
No photo = no listing. Catalogue photos aren’t good enough either. We want fantastic photos that show your item off fully and that will appeal to buyers.
What makes a fantastic photograph?
1 - At least one photo of the entire bike from the side, used as the main image.
2 - Landscape format photos are best.
3 - In addition to the main image you can load up to 5 further images. Use these for close ups of key parts of the bike – brakeset, chain set, cranks, forks.
4 - Choose a background that is not distracting. Keep it simple. Up against a plain wall works best.
5 - Make sure photos are taken with sufficient light and without distracting shadows.
6 - Colour photos only.
7 - Image should not be larger than 500KB and must be in a jpeg format.
