Sprint Auction Tie (well almost!)

The Knog N.E.R.D provided by the good people at Holcros was the subject of the most exciting Sprint Auction we have seen so far. And what happened next we thought we would never see..
After the most hotly contested auction to date, we had a tie. Well nearly a tie! After a bid in the final minute the ten minute overtime period was activated allowing all the 9 bidders 10 extra minutes to make more bids.
What happened next none of us were expecting.. With a bid of £29 in the final second ‘Buffer’ thought he had won the Knog N.E.R.D and the coveted Green Jersey. But, in a surprising twist ‘timclarkih’ posted a bid of the same value and was awarded the win.
This prompted the Directeur Sportif to cancel our developers’ weekends so they could get to the bottom of a truly unexpected coding quirk and a quick call from me to Holcros to source another Knog N.E.R.D as we dont want anyone to be left unhappy.
So thanks to all those who took part and don’t forget that it will all happen again next week. Well the Sprint Auction bit anyway! We already have another great bargain lined up for you so keep your eyes peeled and bidding finger ready.
