Sprint Auction RollercoasterShareThis
After the inaugural sprint auction last week which caused a bit of a furore, we returned this week with a new lot: Velo-re’s handmade belt fashioned from a recycled bike tyre. After a slow start this week (perhaps due to tactical bidding!) things really hotted up. So much so that there was a fourway battle going into the final 30 seconds and 3 bids in the final 10.
This triggered a 10 minute sudden death extra time that we, at GGB HQ, thought was going to bring more frenetic bidding. Alas, it wasn’t to be and Ortonangel won the auction with her last minute bid of £16.50 (RRP £30).
