We’ve got together with Sky Ride to offer for sale, via the site, a limited edition Henry Holland cycling jacket aimed at women.
Celebrated British designer Henry Holland has teamed up with Sky Ride to design the cycling jacket which aims to give women something stylish to wear yet still retaining a sense of practicality when they women go out cycling.
Design and fit
The design of the jacket incorporates a fun polka dot motif using reflective inks making the jacket highly visible. Made of waterproof rip-stop fabric to protect cyclists from the elements, the jacket has a functional yet fashionable shape with a Peter Pan collar and some subtle, feminine rouching on the sleeves. The cut is fitted around the shoulders with a more trapeze line in the body and a box pleat below the yolk in the back.
Sky Ride is a national campaign from Sky and British Cycling, to get one million people cycling regularly by 2013. The campaign includes free events, activities, information and support to help and inspire people of all ages and abilities to re-discover the fun they can have on a bike.
Sky Ride events (on closed roads) have been taking place in the UK throughout the summer in places like Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester and Hull. This Sunday (September 4) see the biggest Sky Ride in terms of participation yet, in London. Going Going Bike will be in attendance, so look for us in our luminous green t-shirts.
