The Great Road Climbs of London: Swains Lane
Quiz for fun (and a prize)

We like to give away prizes. We like to cycle on beautiful days (like photo above). And we like to reward knowledge. We can’t do much about the second but we have created a quiz to deal with the other two.
Please send your answers to the address in the Contact button in the footer below. The names of the highest scorers will go into the Going Going Bike musette and the winner will be drawn.
The excellent prize is a Going Going Bike T-Shirt and two essential cycling reads: Rouleur and The Ride Journal.
Don’t worry, it isn’t too difficult. There are only 5 questions with the answers to be found in our blog postings of the last 7 days. Winner announced over the weekend. Enjoy and thanks for taking part!
1 – How many ascents of Swains Lane is equivalent to climbing Mont Ventoux?
2. What are the names of the bicycles that dished the dirt on Jeremy Clarkson?
3. Who funded the new Sustrans I-Phone App?
4. Fill in the (green) blank
- Nescafe;
- Harmony; or
- Tetley?
5. What type of old bicycles will feature at the Smithfield Nocture?
Thanks for entering! We have your answers and have deleted them from blog. Don’t want to make it too easy for the others
Congratulations to Alastair Smith who is the winner of this week’s quiz! Nice one!
