Following on from the success of last year’s Team Sky Rainforest Rescue Kit auction on Going Going Bike, Team Sky has once again chosen us to be their official auction provider for the Rainforest Rescue kit that they are currently using in the Tour de France.

Last year, the team kit and the sale of the Pinarello Dogma bike that Bradley Wiggins used at the Tour of Britain bike raised £15,000 for Sky Rainforest Rescue. Sky then matched every donation made pound for pound which they intend to do with this year’s auction as they look to raise £4m to help save one billion trees in the state of Acre in the Brazilian Amazon.

More lots on offer this year

The 2011 auction is bigger and better with Team Sky putting forward 13 jawdropping lots. Some of the highlights from the lots on offer from the auction include a number of once in a lifetime prizes including: the chance to win the bike ridden by Geraint Thomas in this year’s Tour de France, attend the end of Tour party in Paris and joining Team Sky at their January training camp. Full details of the lots on offer can be found on the Sky Rainforest Rescue webstore.

100% of all winning bids will go directly to Sky Rainforest Rescue and their partner WWF-UK. Going Going Bike will not charge any commission, admin or payment charges as part of their contribution to the cause.
