GGB survey

Thanks for everybody’s help with our survey. We asked you what you thought about GGB and you gave us loads of helpful ideas and things to improve. There were a few things that stood out.

1. More bikes please!

This came up a lot, you like what we’re doing but can’t always find the bike or item you want. Fear not, we hear you and Roger has been searching all over the place for unique brands and reputable sellers of second hand bicycles. If you think there’s a brand or shop we should know about then let him know!

You can check out the webstore page for full list of our approved sellers. For second hand bicycles check out Bikeworks and Re-Cycling who have both recently started selling serviced bikes on GGB. There are now almost 30 handpicked stores up and running!

2. Fun and interesting content

You like the blog articles and news we put up. You like our irreverent and accessible views on cycling. So we’re going to keep it up and continue to find you the latest and most interesting cycling related stuff from around the world. (Big thanks to Raj and Rosie for their efforts on this.)

If you’ve got a point of view on something cycling related we also feature guest posts. So feel free to drop us a line with your ideas and we’ll see if can help you share them with the GGB community.

3. New and improved functionality

You had loads of ideas here! There were some really great suggestions and we want to get them all up and running as soon as possible. However, we need to give our CTO Howard a bit of a hand here so we’re looking to find another developer to add to the team. We’d love to hear from you if you’re a PHP developer, who loves bikes and hates bike thieves!

Now we’re going to get cracking on making the improvements that you’ve asked for…

Thanks for your support

James and Andrew
