What’s the craziest thing you can do with a Boris Bike? Well we know just the people to answer that question!
Starting at 11am yesterday and finishing at 11am today Patrick, John and Jon are cycling all the way round London, docking at every single one of the 366 active docking stations. That will come to around 100 miles on bikes weighing 23kg with no sleep.
They’re doing this insane challenge to raise money for Frank Water Projects who help bring safe water to people in hundreds of villages in India. You can sponsor them via their justgiving page.
We met these guys when they spoke at our last event at Look Mum No Hands and we agreed to sponsor them. However, they somehow managed to persuade us to take part as well. Luckily there was a technical hitch with some of the docking keys so we had to drop out so they could use our keys. This enabled us to bow out gracefully from a challenge we were never going to be able to complete. Thank goodness for the cycle hire teething problems!
