Christmas gifts for cyclists: under £20 stocking fillers

A good Christmas Stocking will have some cycling related goodies inside. Below we set out the five pieces of cycling kit that we would like to find in our stockings on Christmas morning.
1 – Knog Skink 4 Led Rear Light – Black, Amazon at £10
Good lights are vital for safer cycling in the dark. I’ve just got the Knog Skink rear lamps and am dead chuffed with them.
Very bright, several different flashing options and super handy strap for attaching and quickly removing from your bike. I have managed to fasten to both my seat post and to my outside seatstay, which has made me happy.
2 – Craft cool mesh base layer, Wiggle at £20
A good base layer keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I don’t know the science behind this but it seems to work.
I have had this Craft mesh base layer for several seasons and it goes everywhere I go on my bike. A great gift.
3 – French Revolutions: Cycling the Tour de France, Amazon at £4.50
This is a funny book. It has been around for a while but is a cracking read.
The author’s ability to justify his midday drinking by referring to the irrefutable link between alcohol and cycling is particularly memorable.
4 – Mule Bars (like a Christmas orange), £1.50 at Evans
Father Christmas traditionally brings oranges so why not fills a cyclist’s stocking with this cyclists’ variation.
The mango flavour is particularly nice.
5 – Inner tubes, 5 for £20 at Wiggle
You can never have enough inner tubes.
The Vittoria medium weight tubes have served me well this year and you can get five for under £20 on wiggle!
