Second hand and used bicycle buying guide
Bikes, charities and fun

Lots of people are getting on their bikes to raise money for charity. This we fully encourage! Even the GB volleyball team is getting in on the action. The great thing is the ideas everyone has come up with on top of riding a long distance.
One of our favourite fundraising rides at the moment is Cycling to the Ashes. Oli Broom is riding all the way from the UK to Australia (25,000km over 14 months) in time for the Ashes (that’s a big cricket match) and has just decided to try and supercharge his fundraising efforts. How’s he going to do this? Well, by getting naked of course!
For every additional £5,000 he raises for BNRT and Lord’s Taverners he has promised to do a whole day of his trip completely naked. Now that’s brave / foolhardy for a number of reasons not least because of chafing and the possibility of getting arrested!
Anyway, we fully support Oli in his attempt and would like to hear more from you guys about any trips you (or your friends) are currently, or even planning, doing. We will do a feature on our favourites each week so stay tuned.
