Cycling Holiday Competition

 

In order to celebrate the launch of Going Going Bike we are giving away an adventure cycling holiday for two in Turkey. Flights, accommodation, meals and, of course, bikes are all included.

All you need to do to enter is list an item for sale on our brand new auction site before the 31 July 2010.

The Aegean Coast & Lakes Ride is a cracking five day fully supported ride organised by Exodus worth over £1,500. The ride has full vehicle support and an average daily cycling distance of 37 miles (60kms).  Exodus have been organising world class cycling holidays around the globe since 1994.

Going Going Bike Cycling Holiday Competition Rules

Please read these competition rules carefully. By entering the competition, you confirm that you have read these rules and conditions and that you agree to them.

  1. To enter the competition you must be:
    (a) UK resident; and
    (b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry.
  2. To enter this competition, all you need to do is list an item for sale onwww.goinggoingbike.com.
  3. Only one entry per person. No purchase is necessary.
  4. The winner will be selected by Going Going Bike at random from all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by email or telephone within 28 days of the closing date.
  5. The winner is entitled to two places on the Aegean Coast and Lakes cycling holiday organised and run by Exodus Travels Ltd. The prize includes flights from London, bike hire in Turkey, 7 nights hotels/pensions and all breakfasts, 5 lunches and 4 dinners. The prize does not include insurance and the winner and their companion are responsible for their insurance.
  6. The prize is subject to availability and the holiday must be completed by 31 December 2010.
  7. The closing date is 31 July 2010, and Going Going Bike LLP reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
  8. The prize will not be transferable to another person and no part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize. The prize must be used by the winner and companion travelling together.  Flight details, dates and times cannot be varied once they are booked.
  9. The holiday is subject to Exodus Travels Ltd’s booking conditionshttp://www.exodus.co.uk/holidays/mti/dates-prices. To the extent there is any conflict between these rules and Exodus Travels Ltd’s booking conditions, these terms shall apply.
  10. If the winner is responsible for paying mandatory taxes, air passenger duty and passenger service charges, this must be done at time of booking. The winner and their companion are liable for any tax liability accruing as a result of this competition.
  11. The winner and their companion will be responsible for supplying valid passports and visas and, where necessary, for obtaining appropriate vaccinations and inoculations.
  12. If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period or are not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond Going Going Bike’s reasonable control, then Going Going Bike reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
  13. This competition is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of Going Going Bike LLP.
  14. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
  15. Going Going Bike’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.
  16. The name, county and photograph of the winners may be used by Going Going Bike and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes. The winners agree to allow Going Going Bike to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.
  17. For a period of one month after the close of the competition, you can find out who has won the competition by sending a stamped addressed envelope, marked with the name of the competition to Going Going Bike LLP, at 19 Ebury Street, London SW1W 0LD after the closing date.
  18. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  19. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
  20. This competition is being run by Going Going Bike LLP, at 19 Ebury Street, London SW1W 0LD.
  21. Please read our Privacy Policy which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition.
  22. Going Going Bike LLP reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.
  23. This competition, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this competition.
