When we first came across this week’s Sprint Auction item, our thoughts were instantly torn away from the sodded lycra-clad commutes we seem to enjoy every morning to a more serene glide through the park with the sun on our back. The simple joy and romance of cycling had been perfectly captured in a simple but elegant design.

Beautifully handmade

Created by designer, musician and general jack of all trades, Jesse Herbert, the bicycle wine rack is a wonderful way of combining two of our great passions!

It attaches to 1″ frames via its brass fasteners and can be adjusted to fit 3 types of 3″ wine bottles. In case you are concerned with the idea of suspending your precious cargo underneath your frame, check this video out.

Handmade in Montreal, Canada, the wine rack has proved to be extremely popular with cyclists all over the world. They are for sale in his Oopsmark webstore if you can’t wait until Friday. Otherwise, make sure you don’t miss out on this week’s amazing GGB Sprint Auction!

Auction format

So on to the auction format:

  • The Lot will be an Oopsmark Bicycle wine rack (see main picture).
  • The bidding will start at £5 with small increments of £2 and there will be NO reserve price set.
  • The auction will run this Friday from 12.30pm until 4.30pm at which point the winner will be contacted and arrangements made for delivery.
