This week protection is on our mind and although that may not sound particularly interesting, when you see the deal we’ve secured for you, i think you’ll change your mind.

Soldsecure.net have stepped forward into the breach to offer their Oxford Magnum U-lock – the winner of the GGB bike lock test! This is one seriously good lock. It has an RRP £59.99 although it is available at a 15% discount in their store for £50.99.

It has a Gold Sold Secure Rating which is the highest in its class and comes with a £1000 anti-theft guarantee from the manufacturer. That, i am sure you would agree, is fairly generous.

It also has a High-tech pick resistant locking system, is drill proof, saw proof and even showed stubborn resistance to an angle grinder (lasting over a minute in our test). So all in all this lock is about as good as your going to get!

What’s the Auction Format?

The format will be the same as usual:

  • The Lot will be the Oxford Magnum U-Lock RRP £59.99 (see main picture).
  • The bidding will start at £5 with small increments of £2 and there will be NO reserve price set.
  • The auction will run from 12.30pm until 4.30pm at which point the winner will be contacted and arrangements made for delivery.
  • The auction will take place in the GGB Sprint Auction Store
