Bike- Christmas Lights

A heads up to all. The 5th Going Going Bike “Casual Ride” will take place Sunday 18 December and we’d love you to join us. This ride is being called “London Hills” so expect to work those legs.

The ride starts from Trafalger Square at 10am with the route winding its way up north to London’s classic Swains Lane climb (read about it here). From there we will ride to Alexandra Palace where will take a well earned break to take in the views of London from Ally Pally’s high vantage point.

The ride then goes south and we cycle to Hyde Park before crossing over the Thames to head down to Clapham South.

Full route details

In total, this GGB ride will be 39km. Full route details can be found here.

As we are well into winter temperatures (The forecast for the ride this Sunday is for bright but fairly chilly conditions – 5 or 6 degrees), please dress appropriately for the ride. This includes some tinsel by the way. Anyone wanting to dress up as Santa Claus is also most welcome. Otherwise, we advise that you have some of the following for the ride: long finger, warm gloves, a woolly hat, thick socks, cycling tights, shorts, a base layer, a long sleeve top and a soft shell jacket

To register for the ride, go to our event page at Amiando. Enter the code LondonHills in the “Please Enter Code” box, press the next button and register your name and e-mail details and voila you’re on the ride.
