It can be a hassle carrying that bike lock around but how about a lock that’s disguised as a water bottle.
Ok so it doesn’t carry any water but the Bottle Lock from US cycle rack carrier specialist Küat Racks is a lightweight option to carrying that lock around with you compared to a heavy U-lock that sits on your bike.
Cabling
The Bottle Lock looks like an ordinary water bottle, but inside there is 1.5m of plastic-coated 7.5 mm braided steel cable, which should be enough to lock the frame and both wheels. There is a compartment underneath the bottle for storage of keys and paraphernalia.
While the Küat Racks Bottle Lock is a nice idea, it doesn’t really offer anything different to what else is out on the market in terms of cable locks.
