Children encouraged to bike to school as The Big Pedal turns again

Sustrans and bicycle industry group The Bicycle Association (via Bike Hub) are running their The Big Pedal initiative again this year starting on March 5. The Big Pedal aims to get more children cycling by encouraging children to cycle to school. READ ON

Balance bike racing comes to the UK

Balance bikes are great for getting toddlers and kids under five confident on being a bike. As well as teaching them balance and coordination before they get on a pedalled bike, the bikes are very much a fun item for a child to use. A child just moves the bike by pushing along the ground with their feet. READ ON
